Camper/Travel Trailer/Survival Vehicle

Ever since I have seen these DIY revamps for camper/survival vehicles I am hooked! I would really love to have something like this for camping- or maybe a long road trip! (Or in the case of the last photo Zombie apocalypse) ^.^ So this is on my I want it sooner than later list :)
*Excuse me while I cruise craigslist*

I love these little teardrop trailers- more for short term camping though. I think that Nick has some DIY plans for one of these :) (Photo Link)

This is a school bus turned camper. This kind of thing would be perfect for long term road trips. Would just have to figure out the fuel...maybe bio-Diesel conversion? To find out more and see more photos Click here!

This is just adorable! More of a weekend or week long camper- I just want to pinch it :) (Photo Link)

So this speaks to my bug out survivalist mentality. But come on this things is amazing sauce! It is like the Tardis- it's bigger on the inside! I would totally have one of these! (Photo Link)

Natural Pools

TO add more fun elements to my blog I thought I would do some posts of things I would like to have for my future homestead/farm. The first one is natural pools.

Natural pool are man made bodies of water that are kept clean with filtration by plants (rooted hydroponically). I think this a great alternative to chemically treated pools or even salt water pools.

Here are some great photos:
This is more of a water feature but same idea (via pintrest)

This is a small pool- more like a spa (photo link)

Vacation, Moving and New/Fun Ideas- will be launching soon......

Well Life has been a little bit of a whirl wind lately....

Michigan
I was lucky enough to take a 10 day vacation to see my beautiful family in Michigan. Of course as always I didn't get enough photos! ^o^ Below are some that I did get. As always I had a great time and was sad to leave. At the same time I was happy to get back to LA to my other family (who missed me).
While I was in Michigan we did the regular things- went to Frankenmuth for taffy, cheese and fudge- went to the Shiawassee fair for lemonade, elephant ears, and to ride the surrey ride- One day I got to see extended family and play UNO- and various other things. Most important I got to spend time with the family!

Another one :)

I was with my mom walking around Owosso and saw this in an alley...had to take a shot.

My sister in Frankenmuth. I just asked her to hold this cute unicorn so I could get a photo...this is the result :P

Moving
When I got back to LA it was sleep...then getting up the next day to finishing moving. Luckily I have one of the best guys in the world who moved pretty much everything while I was on vacation ^.^ We are still working on final organization but I am very happy with the new place! A great perk is the view. I get the Hollywood sign, Hollywood, K-town, and Century City. It has been a bit of an adjustment not being about to walk home for lunch but so far it is working out.

New/Fun Ideas
After the move I am getting back into my sewing and crafting. I have lots of fun new ideas for Chibi Bubble Ninja's Sewing & Kigurumi Cafe. Some of which I have mentioned in a previous post. Some of which are still in the works. So I look forward to presenting those soon! I am SO looking forward to upcoming conventions. I am still ironing out all the fine details. Stay in touch for the latest on my Facebook page: Chibi Bubble Ninja Cosplay and Chibi Bubble Ninja's Sewing & Kigurumi Cafe. New photos coming soon on both!

Ninja-con’s friendly atmosphere will welcome new con-goers and convention veterans alike. From special guests to concerts, Ninja-con will have something in store for everyone."

Danny “Dboy” Gonzales
Founder and CEO of Ninja-Con

This was my first year at Ninja Con-in fact this was the first year for Ninja Con! ^.^ It was held in Little Tokyo in Los Angeles. I love that there was finally an anime convention here. Little Tokyo is the perfect setting.  I was there as an assistant to another cosplay commissioner and to assist in the fashion show that I had assisted in making pieces for. I had a great time and I met a lot of great people!
I hope to be back next year!

Anime Expo 2013

This was the first year Nick and I  participated as staff/crew at AX. We had a great time helping people out, cosplaying and hanging out with friends. I am already looking forward to next year! Below are some photos- for more you can check out my website!

From my website:
"This year Nick and I spent our time as volunteers helping in the cosplay repair area. We offered sewing and prop repairs. We did everything from cutting down staffs that were too tall for weapons policy- to combing out a badly tangled Miku wig- to stitching up a few pairs of badly ripped out pants.

We also offered some professional advice for other cosplayers on their projects.

We met lots of great people and hope to see you all there next year!

If you liked cosplay repair this year please write AX on Facebook and or email to make sure they bring us and the repair station back next year! "

A friend commissioned this for me! Isn't it great!

My New Fav makeup!

I wrote this post becasue I felt the need to share some of my favorite makeup with everyone. I find it difficult to find good makeup without all the chemicals and bad stuff that still gives good coverage and doesn't clog up my pores and make me break out. So far though I love love love! These three base products:

Honeybee Gardens

I really like this for just everyday wear- it is light but will conceal the occasional breakout. I get it in          Geisha which I believe is the lightest color becasue I am just that pale :P

in Ivory. I use this when I am going to be doing a photo shoot or cosplay. The Cream goes on smooth, is not heavy but provides a good coverage. I also like that it does not seem to clog my pores after all day wear.

in cream. (Yes I have to use all the lightest colors^.^). This I use with the Cream stick foundation to cover small blemishes and under eye circles. Just like the foundation this gives me great coverage without feeling heavy.

For my eyeshadow and blush I am not that picky. I would like to try some of the products from Honeybee Gardens and MyChelle in the near future. Currently I am using these two palettes:

I got this becasue I was doing more cosplay, which requires so many different colors.I am happy with this palette becasue all the colors (I have used so far) have great pigment. Usually when you get a inexpensive eyeshadow palette the colors do not transfer to the skin well.

I got this as kind of an add on for free shipping. It has been really useful in cosplay so far. It is a simple palette which is what I was looking for.

That is pretty much the main products that I use for my makeup. I try to keep it simple and wear a little as possible on a daily basis. Maybe in the near future I will do a more in depth of my cosplay makeup as well as my skin care routine ^.^ Till next time....
